Lol. Whole new meaning to this song.
Apparently crows never forget you. This’ll come back to bite me in the ass on job applications…
Hey guys, I haven’t posted in a few days because I’ve been really busy having an awesome time up here in Boston! One of the coolest places I’ve ever been. Awesome city. Along with all the surrounding areas like Cambridge, Somerville, and others! I’ll tell you all more about it when I get home. Maybe even post some pictures. :)
Wonderful. Just be nice to people. Always. It makes you feel good, or it should. It always makes me feel good. Even if I don’t get a thanks, I still do it, and I still feel good. I used to absolutely hate it when someone wouldn’t thank me. Now I realize, I’m content with knowing that I did something nice for someone. If I get a thanks, I’m pleasantly surprised at their niceness towards me. One thanks in a million is all I need to understand that what you put into the world, you get out of it.
Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Best way to explain it. This is an ideal that I live my life by. You don’t have to be happy all the time, in fact, you shouldn’t. There should always be some sadness for good measure. Never too much. Don’t let yourself become depressed. But, really, at least once a day, look at your life. Tell me that you can’t find something good. There’s something there. Always. If something upsets you, don’t let it ruin your day. Be inherently happy. Be nice. Smile. Love Life.

EXAMS. STRESS. LIFE. Yupp, I’ve been studying all day for my AP World Exam on Thursday. I’m freaking out, on the bright side, I feel rather prepared and very good about it. Also, I’m going to Boston on Thursday! It’s going to be really awesome. I will upload pictures sometime next week. Anyways, just feeling in a rant-y mood. Would you call it “rant-y?” i don’t know, don’t care, I like it, so there! Haha. So, exams, good luck to all of you, whoever is reading this. There is thunder in the distance, warmth in my bed, and soon to be a nice Edgar Allen Poe story in my hand. This is a pretty good night then, I’d say.
It starts. The beginning of our scrapbook. Entitled “Matt And Brooke’s Excellent Adventure.” My girlfriend and I are starting this and it shall be awesome! I might upload pictures as we finish pages.
Your grade has also been lowered as a result of your inability to suck it up and answer some damn questions.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I can’t exactly pinpoint as to why, I just know I love it. Maybe it’s the insanity of it all. And I can’t think of anyone better to portray this character than Gene Wilder. Is it his office, where everything is cut in half except for his hat? Is it his attitude towards all the spoiled brats? Is it his line, “Help. Police. Murder.” No, I think it’s his first appearance. He strolls out of the factory with a cane. Places his cane in the cobblestone, appears to fall forward, is about to slam his face on the ground, and does a somersault after which he jumps up and opens the gate. That is the moment in this film that made me love it. From that point forward, you don’t know what’s real or fake with Willy Wonka. He’s absolutely insane yet completely logical in his own way. He’s brilliant. And the man even more brilliant than the character is the actor, Gene Wilder. He knew exactly what he wanted to do and he did it perfectly. The only man more brilliant than those two is Roald Dahl.
